Responsibilities

• Support merchants throughout onboarding and activation, including document collection and system setup.
• Maintain and update merchant information, hours, product details, and backend settings.
• Monitor onboarding progress and coordinate with BD and other departments to resolve issues.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for merchant info verification, data prep, and system updates.
• Handle and follow up on merchants' daily operational matters and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform basic data collection, reporting, and analysis using Microsoft Excel for monitoring and decisions.
• Maintain an accurate merchant database and proper documentation/records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve merchant operations.

Job description

This role involves supporting merchants throughout the onboarding and activation process, maintaining merchant information and backend systems, and providing operational support to the Merchant Acquisition and Business Development team.

Key responsibilities

• Support merchants throughout the onboarding and activation process, including document collection, verification, system setup, menu/product updates, and store activation
• Maintain and update merchant information, business hours, product details, and other backend system settings to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Monitor merchant onboarding and activation progress, and coordinate with the Business Development (BD) team and relevant departments to resolve operational or system-related issues
• Provide day-to-day operational support to the Merchant Acquisition and Business Development team, including merchant information verification, data preparation, system updates, and other operational requirements
• Handle and follow up on merchants' daily operational matters, ensuring issues are properly recorded, communicated, and resolved in a timely manner
• Perform basic data collection, reporting, and analysis using Microsoft Excel to support operational monitoring and business decision-making
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date merchant database and ensure proper documentation and record management
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support merchant operations and improve internal processes

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data management and basic reporting
• Detail-oriented with good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing Mandarin is required for this role
• Experience in operations, merchant onboarding, customer service, e-commerce, food delivery, or data administration is an added advantage
• Experience with backend systems, merchant platforms, or e-commerce systems is an added advantage
