Job summary

Grab is seeking a seasoned Head of IT Operations to lead regional Level 1 and 2 infrastructure, end-user computing, workplace technology and NOC services, reporting to Head of End User Computing. This onsite role is based in Kuala Lumpur and requires building a high-performing team and partnering with country IT and business units.

You will drive engineering practices—automation, observability, analytics—and govern vendor performance while advancing secure design, testing and rollback controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure and IT service operations.
• Experience leading technical teams in hiring and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and endpoint technologies.
• Experience with IT service management and SLA governance.
• Automation and observability using scripting and APIs.
• Vendor-management across regional ops.
• Experience with Intune or Jamf; exposure to AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the IT Operations team, including hiring and performance management.
• Own Level 1 and 2 service outcomes across infrastructure and end-user computing.
• Lead major incident and problem management with root-cause analysis.
• Build partnerships with country IT and business teams through regular service reviews.
• Define and execute roadmaps for service improvement, automation and analytics.
• Establish engineering standards for operational tooling and automation.
