Job summary

JD Sports SEA is seeking a payroll and HR administrator to manage payroll for permanent and part-time retail staff across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. The role covers attendance data, leave management, and compliance with statutory requirements, with close collaboration with HR Operations and stores.

The incumbent will maintain HR records, support benefits administration, and liaise with government bodies and vendors. Prior multi-country HR exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience handling payroll for multiple countries/regions is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR administrative procedures and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for retail staff (permanent and part-time) including all payable components.
• Verify and calculate store employees' time and attendance data.
• Coordinate with HR Operations to obtain documents for payroll processing.
• Maintain the e-leave system and support store managers with leave data.
• Record and monitor medical benefit usage for all staff.
• Submit government statutory contributions after payroll processing.
• Maintain HR records and employee files post-payroll cycle.
• Liaise with government bodies on new laws affecting payroll in responsible countries.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors on issues related to payroll activities.
• Prepare and submit monthly Staff Due for Confirmation reports for HR Operations.
• Handle HR matters at store level including disciplinary and counselling matters.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover at store level.
