Job summary

Affin Bank Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Senior Partnership & Business Development leader to drive regional growth for Personal Financing by building strategic alliances with Government Agencies, GLCs, private corporations, and associations, while ensuring compliance and strong service delivery across the region.

You will lead regional teams, manage key stakeholders, and translate market insights into actionable strategies, developing innovative partnership models and events to support PF

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in PF and corporate engagement.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership, planning, and organizational capabilities.
• Strategic thinking and translating market insights into plans.
• Solid understanding of compliance, governance, and risk in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Government Agencies, GLCs, private companies, and pensioner associations to drive growth.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard partner organisations aligned with PF objectives with compliance.
• Develop innovative partnership models, engagement strategies, and events to support initiatives.
• Develop regional strategic sales plans to achieve targets and growth.
• Conduct market intelligence to identify opportunities, risks, and gaps.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to support PF decisions.
• Manage PF programs implementation, ensure service delivery and process improvements.
• Support sales teams with product knowledge and upskilling.
• Ensure regional teams are trained on features, processes, and compliance.
• Lead regional sales teams with planning, performance, coaching.
• Align resources to deliver regional outcomes.
• Support teams in resolving matters related to Affin FLEXI PFI.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
