Job summary

Evonik is seeking a Commercial professional for its Interface & Polyurethane Additives business line in Selangor, Malaysia. The role focuses on business development while managing accounts and distribution channels across Southeast Asia.

Ideal candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and 5 to 10 years of client-facing experience, preferably in the specialty additives industry. Fluency in English and local language is essential, with additional language skills in Chinese, Korean, or Japanese as a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred.
• 5 – 10 years of experience in a client-facing role.
• Experience in specialty additives industries preferred.
• Fluency in local language and English required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business development activities, including market sizing and opportunity development.
• Develop and implement a sales plan aligned with targets.
• Manage direct accounts and distribution channels in the territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and distributors.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for business operations.
• Gather and report on relevant market information.
