Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia in Selangor is seeking an Inventory & Demand Planning Specialist to safeguard product availability across an assigned portfolio. You will manage inventory levels, perform MRP reviews, and coordinate replenishment to meet service levels.

The role requires 2–5 years in inventory planning, strong Excel and data analysis, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and collaboration with Sales, Operations, and overseas plants to optimize supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in inventory planning and inventory management.
• Experience supporting demand planning and forecasting activities.
• Experience maintaining and managing Master Data within business systems.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong data analysis capability.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a supply chain or operational environment.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, packaging, or supply chain environment.
• Desirable: Experience using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Exposure to demand segmentation and inventory parameter management.
• Experience working with international suppliers, plants, or global operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels across an assigned portfolio to ensure product availability within service and inventory guidelines.
• Execute inventory planning activities including MRP review, replenishment planning, order placement, and inventory optimisation.
• Support demand planning and forecasting processes by monitoring demand trends and variances.
• Maintain master data integrity; ensure planning parameters and system information are accurate.
• Manage supplier and plant order activity, including expediting and de-expediting orders.
• Monitor inventory performance and provide reporting, analysis, and insights.
• Build relationships with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and overseas plants for alignment.
• Identify risks to supply and resolve inventory issues to meet customer expectations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in planning processes.
• Contribute to broader Supply Chain projects and collaboration.
