Senior Supply Planner – Inventory & Replenishment

Job summary

PPG Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Planner to develop short- and long-term material plans, manage inventory, and coordinate end-to-end import processes to ensure uninterrupted production.

You will collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams, monitor KPIs like OTIF and inventory days, and drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy. This role focuses on delivering reliable supply and reducing excess inventory through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in supply planning, material planning, or inventory management in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle/Kinaxis/APO or similar).
• Knowledge of supply planning, MRP, inventory management, and replenishment processes.
• Analytical and proactive mindset; strong Excel and reporting skills.
• IBP/S&OP knowledge and inventory optimization a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop short-term and long-term material supply plans based on demand forecasts and production schedules.
• Monitor material availability and ensure on-time replenishment for manufacturing.
• Generate PRs and POs, release orders to suppliers, and track deliveries.
• Identify and escalate shortages and supply risks; coordinate recovery plans.
• Manage end-to-end import processes, including documentation and customs compliance.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure supply continuity.
