Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supply Chain Officer - Planning in Penang to manage inventory, forecast demand, and coordinate logistics for efficient product flow. You will ensure accurate demand data in ERP and align production with customer orders.

The role requires strong English communication, experience in contract manufacturing environments is a plus, and you will work closely with vendors and customers to maintain timely production schedules.

Qualifications

Good understanding of inventory management and total Supply Chain planning.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and ability to negotiate with all levels.

Responsibilities

Maintain customer demand in ERP system such as sales orders and customer forecast as required.
Plan & schedule production quantity based on customer order, and confirm orders after material status with vendors.
Carry out routine supply chain operation tasks and update data in ERP.
Declare material liabilities when orders cancelled or deferred.
Control in-house production and sub-contracting including issuing production orders for material kitting.
Update production planning reports and investigate delays with corrective actions.
Organise material flow per production plan; monitor CTB status.
Arrange shipment per customer requirements and update shipment tracker; coordinate with Shipping for invoicing.
Initiate GSP Form A applications as needed.
Monitor finished goods consignment stock and stock movements.
Interface with customer for withdrawal of consigned stock and weekly update of orders.
Ensure inventory control aligns with company objectives and observe QMS & LN SOPs.
Perform other duties as assigned by superior and Supply Chain Manager.
