Job summary

PEAK KITCHEN SDN. BHD. is seeking a Receptionist / Relationship Manager for G Tavern & G Private Dining to warmly welcome guests and handle enquiries and reservations.

You will be the first contact, coordinating with outlet teams to ensure every visit runs smoothly. Responsibilities include handling reservations by phone, WhatsApp and in person; welcoming guests on arrival; updating waitlists; assisting with private dining and group bookings; sharing details with floor and kitchen teams; and

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant reception and reservations.
• Friendly, professional manner and confident communication with guests.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially during busy periods.
• Good command of English; Mandarin is a plus.

Job description

We are looking for a Receptionist / Relationship Manager who enjoys meeting people and knows how to make customers feel welcome. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers at G Tavern & G Private Dining, handling enquiries and reservations, welcoming customers on arrival and working with the outlet teams to make sure each visit runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

Handle reservation enquiries by phone, WhatsApp and in person. Confirm bookings and follow up on changes, cancellations and special requests.

Welcome guests on arrival, check their reservations and coordinate seating with the floor team.

Keep the reservation list and waitlist up to date, and keep guests informed of expected waiting times during busy service.

Assist with private dining and group bookings by confirming guests counts and arrangements for special occasions.

Share booking details and special requests with the floor and kitchen teams before service.

Build relationships with guests to make visits more personal.

Respond to guest feedback professionally and work with the Outlet Manager to resolve any concerns.

Requirements

Experience in restaurant reception, reservations, guest relations, hotel front office or a similar customer-facing role.

A friendly, professional manner and confidence communicating with guests in person, by phone and in writing.

Good organisational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling multiple bookings during busy periods.

Good command of English. Mandarin is an advantage when assisting Mandarin-speaking guests.

Experience in premium dining, private events or group reservations is an advantage.

Able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
