Job summary

O2 Klinik SDN BHD is seeking a Radiographer Cum Clinic Assistant to perform radiographic procedures, assist doctors with clinical care, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients. The role requires a Diploma/degree in Radiography, ARRT or equivalent certification, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of radiography experience.

CT/MRI certifications are a plus. Based in Penang, you will help with patient registration, imaging, equipment operation, and inventory management while supporting

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from an accredited program.
• Valid professional certification or licensure in Radiography (e.g., ARRT or equivalent).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
• Additional CT or MRI certifications are a plus.
• Medical Assistant certification or experience is beneficial.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiographer in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in a clinical or medical assistant role is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable about healthcare trends and developments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
• Own reliable transportation and able to work shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for X-ray procedures according to doctor’s instructions.
• Capture X-ray images to aid in medical diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety and document any reactions to treatment.
• Update patient charts and answer clinical questions.
• Assist with patient registration, guide patients on waiting times, and direct them to consultation rooms.
• Support doctors during examinations and routine procedures.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing as prescribed.
• Operate medical equipment professionally and safely.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
• Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and medications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education

Diploma or degree in Radiography/Medical Imaging

ARRT or equivalent certification

BLS/CPR certification

CT/MRI certifications (plus)

Medical Assistant certification/experience (beneficial)

1 year radiographer experience

Clinical/medical assistant experience (advantage)

O2 clinic headquarter is known to be one of the largest clinic due to the number of consultation rooms, treatment rooms, and the number of doctors and nurses on duty.

Up until May 2016, our headquarters alone have 10 treatment rooms and 5 consultation rooms with 10 doctors and 20 qualified nurses working on a shift rotation basis, 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our mission and vision is to deliver care to the community with empathy and holistic approach with the advance diagnostic and treatment equipment including the modern laser technology.
