Job summary

Experience in clinic-based imaging is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional registration or certification as a Radiographer with the relevant regulatory body.
• Proficiency in operating digital radiographic and imaging equipment (X-Ray).
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and adherence to radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Position patients correctly and ensure image quality for interpretation.
• Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment; perform QA checks.
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations and use protective equipment.
• Assist clinicians with patient preparation, vital sign monitoring, and clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and equipment maintenance logs.
• Manage clinic scheduling and patient flow to optimise operations.
• Support administrative tasks including patient registration and data entry.
• Ensure sterilisation and maintenance of clinic equipment and facilities.
• Provide patient education regarding imaging procedures and post-procedure care.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer cum Clinic Assistant to join our medical imaging team at Klinik Aman 14 Jam Happy Garden. This is a full-time position based in Happy Garden, Kuala Lumpur. In this dual role, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures while providing essential clinical support to ensure smooth operations within our healthcare facility. This position is pivotal in delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging services and maintaining an efficient clinic environment for our patients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established safety protocols and quality standards
• Position patients correctly for imaging studies and ensure optimal image quality for clinical interpretation
• Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment, performing routine quality assurance checks
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations and ensure appropriate use of protective equipment
• Assist healthcare professionals with patient preparation, vital sign monitoring and general clinical procedures
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient information and equipment maintenance logs
• Manage clinic scheduling and patient flow to optimise clinic operations
• Support administrative tasks including patient registration, data entry and appointment management
• Ensure proper sterilisation and maintenance of clinic equipment and facilities
• Provide patient education regarding imaging procedures and post‑procedure care instructions

What we’re looking for

• Recognised diploma or degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution
• Valid professional registration or certification as a Radiographer with the relevant regulatory body
• Proficiency in operating digital radiographic and imaging equipment (X-Ray)
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and adherence to radiation protection standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare staff
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of image quality and patient care
• Proficiency in medical record‑keeping and basic computer literacy
• Physical capability to perform patient positioning and handling safely
• Previous experience in clinic‑based imaging or healthcare settings is advantageous
• Fluency in English and Malay is preferred.
