Job summary

O2 Klinik Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Clinic Assistant with at least 1 year of related experience or fresh graduates to join our medical team. You will assist patients, support doctors and nurses, handle medication dispensing, and manage patient records with confidentiality.

Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends is required. The position offers a monthly salary range based on experience and knowledge of medical terminology and patient management systems.

Qualifications

• At least SPM/"O" Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related experience; fresh graduates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration and waiting updates.
• Support doctors and nurses during examinations and procedures.
• Assist in preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Operate medical equipment with care and safety.
• Handle inquiries via calls and emails promptly.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and medications.
• Keep clinic area clean and organized.
• Submit the TPA claim as required.

Job description

Salary Range: RM 1,700.00 - RM 2,500.00 (Based on experience)

Education:

At least SPM/"O" Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh graduate / Clinic assistant / Medical Assistant / Pharmacy Assistant / Radiographer are encouraged to apply.

Proficiency in using medical office software and patient management systems.

Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients with registration and provide updates on waiting times and assigned consultation rooms.

Support doctors and nurses during patient examinations and routine medical procedures.

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.

Support clinical procedures and operate medical equipment with care, ensuring professionalism and safety.

Answer incoming calls and handle inquiries promptly and accurately.

Monitor and manage the inventory of supplies and medications to ensure stock levels are maintained.

Ensure the clinic area is kept clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Ensure to submit the TPA claim.

O2 Klinik headquarter is located in Ayer Itam, Penang Island. O2 clinic headquarter is known to be one of the largest clinic due to the number of consultation rooms, treatment rooms, and the number of doctors and nurses on duty.

Up until May 2016, our headquarters alone have 10 treatment rooms and 5 consultation rooms with 10 doctors and 20 qualified nurses working on a shift rotation basis, 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our mission and vision is to deliver care to the community with empathy and holistic approach with the advance diagnostic and treatment equipment including the modern laser technology.
