Job summary

O2 Klinik is seeking a professional Radiographer Cum Clinic Assistant to join our team in Kedah. You will perform radiographic procedures, assist doctors with clinical care, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Radiography, ARRT or equivalent licensure, and BLS/CPR certification. CT/MRI certifications and Medical Assistant experience are a plus. Minimum 1 year of radiography experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Radiography from an accredited program.
• Valid professional certification or licensure in Radiography (e.g., ARRT or equivalent).
• BLS or CPR certification.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (CT, MRI) are a plus.
• Medical Assistant certification or experience is beneficial.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiographer in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in a clinical or medical assistant role is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for X-ray procedures according to doctor’s instructions
• Capture X-ray images to aid in medical diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety and document any reactions to treatment
• Update patient charts and answer clinical questions
• Assist with patient registration, guide patients on waiting times, and direct them to consultation rooms
• Support doctors during examinations and routine procedures
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing as prescribed
• Operate medical equipment professionally and safely
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly
• Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and medications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

O2 Klinik headquarter is located in Ayer Itam, Penang Island. O2 clinic headquarter is known to be one of the largest clinic due to the number of consultation rooms, treatment rooms, and the number of doctors and nurses on duty.

Up until May 2016, our headquarters alone have 10 treatment rooms and 5 consultation rooms with 10 doctors and 20 qualified nurses working on a shift rotation basis, 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
