Job summary

Southern Medical Group is seeking a competent Radiographer who can also support general Clinic Assistant duties. The role involves general X-ray imaging, adherence to radiation safety, patient positioning, and maintaining records in a fast-paced clinic.

Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Radiography with valid APC where applicable. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and you must be willing to work across Taman Pelangi & Eco Botanic branches and participate in clinic operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray imaging (e.g. chest, extremities, abdomen) safely and professionally.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal image quality.
• Maintain imaging records and documentation.
• Assist doctors in reviewing images when required.
• Conduct routine QA checks on imaging equipment.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning.
• Register patients and manage front desk operations.
• Handle patient enquiries and coordinate clinic flow.
• Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures.
• Maintain clinic environment and cleanliness.
• Shift: 5.5 days, 9am–6pm; weekends and public holidays.

About the Role

Southern Medical Group is seeking a competent, responsible, and patient centred Radiographer who is also able to support general Clinic Assistant (CA) duties.

This dual-role position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on clinical work, are adaptable, and are able to contribute to both radiography services and the overall clinic workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray imaging (e.g. chest, extremities, abdomen) in a safe and professional manner
• Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal image quality
• Maintain accurate imaging records and proper documentation
• Assist doctors in reviewing images when required
• Conduct routine quality assurance (QA) checks on imaging equipment
• Ensure X-ray equipment is properly maintained and functioning
• Comply with MOH regulations and clinic SOPs at all times
• Register patients and manage front desk operations
• Handle patient enquiries and coordinate clinic flow efficiently
• Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures
• Dispense medications accurately and responsibly (if required)
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic environment
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and patient care
• Support administrative and daily operational tasks
• Based on shift schedule ( 5.5 days | 9am - 6pm )
• Shift schedule include weekends and public holidays

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Radiography or equivalent
• Valid APC (Annual Practising Certificate) where applicable
• Prior experience in clinic or hospital setting is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work in Taman Pelangi & Eco Botanic branches
• Willing to perform both radiography and basic clinic assistant duties
