Job summary

OTT CREATION MARKETING in Malaysia is seeking a BIM M&E Modeler/Drafter to support project teams with accurate M&E drawings and BIM models. You will develop M&E BIM models in Revit and prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for submission and construction.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 2 years of M&E drafting experience, and hands-on Revit/BIM and AutoCAD skills. Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.

• Minimum 2 years of M&E drafting experience.
• Hands-on Revit/BIM and AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain M&E BIM models using Revit.

• Coordinate drawings and models with project teams.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Maintain engineering documentation and records.

Our client is an established Singapore-based engineering and construction company with a strong track record in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) engineering and building services, they are looking for a BIM M&E Modeler / Drafter to support our project teams in developing accurate and high-quality Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) drawings and BIM models. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD and a good understanding of M&E installation requirements.

• Develop, update, and maintain M&E BIM models using Revit in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and standards.
• Prepare and revise 2D M&E engineering drawings using AutoCAD for project submission and construction purposes.
• Work closely with project and engineering teams to coordinate drawings, models, and technical documentation.
• Ensure drawings and BIM models are accurate, properly coordinated, and compliant with relevant project standards.
• Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining engineering documentation and project records.
• Support the team in resolving drawing and modelling issues throughout the project.
• Perform other engineering, drafting, and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma, Degree, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, M&E, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in M&E drafting, preferably with hands‑on experience in Revit/BIM and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of M&E installation details, drawings, and technical requirements.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams.
