Job summary

Precision Control in Malaysia is seeking a Senior BIM Modeller to join our engineering team. You will produce high-quality layouts, proposal drawings, diagrams, and technical sketches using advanced CAD/BIM tools to transform engineering concepts into coordinated, buildable solutions.

Responsibilities include using REVIT for production drawings, coordinating with engineers, site visits for as-built drawings, and preparing project documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 Years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Use REVIT to develop designs, create and revise production drawings.
• Liaise with engineers for drawing updates & changes.
• Site visit for as-built drawing; prepare and review rough sketches and reviews with project team.
• Prepare project documentation as required.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultant, client, and main contractor; prepare drawings during meetings.
• Understand and apply drawing specifications and instructions from engineers; revise drawings as requested.
• Familiar with Electrical and Instrumentation installation details and limitations.
• Execute project implementation in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Manual and related procedures.
• Identify hazards during the design stage per ISO 45001 and implement mitigation actions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior BIM Modeller to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with engineers to bring designs to life by producing high-quality layouts, proposal drawings, diagrams, and technical sketches using advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools. Your work will play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into coordinated, buildable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Uses REVIT to develop designs, create and revise production drawings. (Draw trunking/tray based on the engineer's sketch.).

Liaise with the engineer for drawing updates & changes.

Able to understand the drawing specifications and written instructions provided bythe Engineer and revise drawings as per request.

Site visit for as-built drawing - Prepare and review the rough sketches and review them along with the project team.

To prepare project documentation as required.

Attend coordination meeting with consultant, client, and main contractor, (Prepare and complete necessary drawings during meeting).

Familiar with and understand Electrical and Instrumentation installation details and limitations.

Responsible to execute project implementation in accordance to agreed customer requirements and always referring to the established ISO 9001 Quality Manual, Procedures Manuals, and Work Instruction Manuals.

Responsible for identifying hazards during the design stage in accordance with ISO 45001, establishing the Occupational Health and Safety Quality Manual, Procedures Manuals, Operational Procedures, and eliminating or minimizing the impact of identified risk through the execution of mitigation actions.
