Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior M&E Designer to support the engineering team in preparing M&E drawings, BIM models and technical documentation for building services projects. This role suits fresh graduates or junior candidates who want to develop careers in HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical design and BIM modelling. You will work with AutoCAD and Revit to draft, coordinate, and produce shop and as-built drawings.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of AutoCAD/Revit drafting experience is an advantage.
• Interest in HVAC, M&E design and BIM modelling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update M&E drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Support HVAC and mechanical services drawings, including ductwork layouts, pipe routing, equipment layouts, M&E coordination drawings.
• Assist in developing BIM models and 3D M&E layouts.
• Revise drawings according to consultant/client comments and site requirements.
• Assist in clash coordination between M&E services and other building systems.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams and site personnel to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain drawing records and follow company drafting standards.

Junior M&E Designer (AutoCAD / Revit)

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior M&E Designer to support our engineering team in preparing M&E drawings, BIM models and technical documentation for building services projects.

This role is suitable for fresh graduates or junior candidates who are interested in developing their career in HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) design, and BIM modelling.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and update M&E drawings using AutoCAD and Revit based on engineering requirements.


• Support the preparation of HVAC and mechanical services drawings, including:

• Assist engineers in developing BIM models and 3D M&E layouts.
