Job summary

TICA Climate Solutions Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an Engineering/R&D professional to support selection checks, price verifications, and quotations for AHU/FCU orders. You will liaise with suppliers and OEM customers while contributing to pricing strategies and responsive inquiries.

Fresh graduates or engineers with basic HVAC and electrical knowledge will fit, with opportunities to engage in marketing events and end-to-end lifecycle support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science related field.
• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing or facilities is preferred.
• Basic HVAC knowledge and electrical application basics.
• Independent, hardworking, and with self-initiative.
• Multilingual in Bahasa and English; Mandarin is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform selection checks and price verification on confirmed orders to prevent delays.
• Support sales in selecting AHU/FCU units with optimisation recommendations.
• Prepare quotations for non-standard items ensuring accuracy and pricing compliance.
• Liaise with suppliers for pricing and product information.
• Manage OEM customer relations and assist with AHU selection and product offerings.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency in responding to customer inquiries and price list creation.
• Participate in marketing events to promote the organisation.

Job description

This role involves performing selection checks and price verification on confirmed orders, supporting the Sales team in selecting AHU and FCU units with optimisation recommendations, and preparing detailed quotations for non-standard items. You will liaise with suppliers for pricing and product information, manage OEM customer relations, develop strategies to enhance efficiency in responding to customer inquiries, and participate in marketing events to promote the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Perform selection checks and price verification on confirmed orders before placement to prevent production delays caused by incorrect preliminary designs and pricing issues

Support the Sales team in selecting AHU and FCU units while providing optimisation recommendations to ensure the best performance and cost-effectiveness

Prepare and provide detailed quotations to the Sales team for non-standard items, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pricing guidelines

Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and updated product information

Manage OEM customer relations, including AHU selection and product offerings, to ensure solutions align with their specific requirements

Develop strategies to enhance efficiency in responding to customer inquiries, including creating templates for price calculations and compiling price lists for common but non-standard items

Participate in marketing events, such as exhibitions and career fairs, to promote the organisation and enhance its visibility

About you

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent

Fresh graduate or 1-2 years working experience in manufacturing or facilities field

Basic HVAC knowledge / Electrical Application

Independent, hardworking, and with self-initiative

Multi-lingual skills in speaking or writing in Bahasa and English

Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

Computer proficiency: Microsoft, Auto-CAD, or equivalent solid work
