Job summary

MAL WAH SELATAN SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to perform BQ calculations, take-offs from drawings, and site measurements. You will prepare quotations and tenders in line with client requirements and company standards, while following up on valuations from main contractors.

The role requires handling variations orders, final accounts, and monthly progress claims, with an emphasis on independent site quantity surveying and tendering work. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least minimum Diploma in QS or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must have good measurement, pricing and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently in handling site quantity surveying works andtenderingworks.

Responsibilities

• - BQ calculations & taking off quantity from drawings.
• - Responsible for site measurements.
• - Prepare quotations / tenders submission based on the invitation from Clients / Main Contractors.
• - Ensure that all quotations / tender documents comply with company standards and client requirements.
• - Following up the certificate valuation from main contractors.
• - Resolve any outstanding claim issues on variations orders and final accounts.
• - To prepare monthly progress claim and monthly report.
• - To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed.
