Shanghai Tunnel Engineering And Construction – Petaling is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Tender Executive / Senior Tender Executive) to coordinate, prepare and compile bid submissions, and to align multiple departments with tender requirements. • Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience.
• Experience in infrastructure, building and MRT/LRT projects preferred.
• Working experience with Main Contractor would be an advantage.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents for tendering activities.
• Organize and harness efforts of all departments related to tendering activities and contract review.
• Coordinate customer bid requirements across planning, QA/QC, HSE, Engineering, Production, etc.
• Assist Business Development & Tender in maintaining relationships with associates/customers.
• Vet incoming tenders, note due dates, start/end dates and submission instructions.
• Collate tender information from sources for submission.
• Monitor tender submission due dates and prepare outgoing submissions.
• Ensure tender submissions are standardized in format, font, logo, etc.

Quantity Surveyor (Tender Executive / Senior Tender Executive)

Shanghai Tunnel Engineering And Construction – Petaling

To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications.

To organize and harness the efforts of all involved departments relating to tendering/bidding activities and contract review.

To coordinate customer’s bid requirements within the various departments such as planning, QA/QC, HSE, Engineering, Production, etc., collate and compile all queries and requests for additional information for communication to customers.

To assist Business Development & Tender department in cultivating good relationship with existing and potential associates/customers.

To vet through incoming tenders and to note down tender due date, project start and end date, tender submission instructions/requirement and mode of submission.

To collate tender information and references from various sources such as online search engines, industry and market intelligence data etc., which are needed for submission.

To monitor and ensure that tender submission due dates are strictly adhered to, including the checking, binding, packing and preparation of outgoing submissions.

To ensure that tender submissions are standardized in terms of format, font, logo, etc. and in line with customer’s tenderrequirements.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 3 years' relevant working experience.

Preferably with experience in infrastructure, building, and MRT/LRT projects.

Working experiences with Main Contractor would be an advantage.

Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre-and post-contract duties.

Proficiency Chinese is preferred to facilitate communication and reporting with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
