Job summary

Equalbase in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to support the Cost & Contract team across feasibility, pre-construction, tender, construction and post-contract stages on local projects.

You will shadow senior members, learn internal processes, and gradually take ownership of selected work packages, ensuring commercial documentation complies with delegation of authority and procurement workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Preferably 5 years and above of Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience in developer, consultant or contractor environment is acceptable.
• Experience in industrial, warehouse, logistics, infrastructure or building projects will be an advantage.
• Candidates with a strong learning attitude are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cost estimation and tender analysis.
• Review contractor progress claims and cost reporting.
• Maintain internal cost database and benchmark rates.
• Coordinate with project team to close tender gaps and ensure traceability of commercial records.
