Job summary

Yeuan Tong Aluminium Glass Works Sdn Bhd is seeking a fresher or junior QS to join our Penang team. You will assist in preparing bills of quantities, quotations, progress claims, and contract documents, and attend site valuations.

The role involves cost calculation from technical drawings, sourcing pricing, and basic contract administration, including filing. Monday to Friday work.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or at least 1 year of experience in related field for this position.
• Preferable site experience.
• Candidate should be able to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantities, quotations, progress claims, and contract documents.
• Attend site valuations and submit progress claims and final accounts.
• Follow up with customer on payment certificates.
• Calculate construction costs for tendering projects based on drawings and documents.
• Source pricing from suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Assist with contract administration and document filing.
• Prepare material submissions and print construction drawings.
• Support QS duties as required.

Fresh Graduate / At least 1 years working experience in the related field is required for this position *preferable with site experience

Preparation of BQ, quotation, progress claims, contract document

Attend site valuations, prepare ,evaluate and submit progress claims, VO and final account

Follow up with customer on claim payment certificates

Good understanding in technical drawing auto-cad

Able to calculate the cost of construction for tendering project (BQ/pre-contract) *based on technical drawing & doc

Sourcing pricing for supplier and sub-contractor

Basic contract administrator – including letter and filling

Overall the project claims documentation and admin

Material submission

Printing construction drawing

Other duties required of a QS from time to time
