Job summary

INTEGRATED VEST (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. You will ensure projects stay within budget and meet legal requirements while maximizing client value.

Responsibilities include cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, cost control, risk assessment, and dispute resolution for various civil and building works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or closely related field.
• Local registration with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia.

A Quantity Surveyor (QS) manages all financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. They ensure that building and civil engineering projects are completed within budget, meet legal requirements, and provide maximum value for the client's investment.

Key Responsibilities

• 1) Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs from blueprints and project drawings.
• 2) Tendering & Procurement: Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), assemble tender documents, and evaluate contractor bids.
• 3) Contract Administration: Negotiate terms, manage subcontractor agreements, and value completed work for interim payments.
• 4) Cost Control & Variation Management: Track project expenses, assess design changes, and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• 5) Risk & Dispute Resolution: Identify commercial risks and help resolve contractual claims or disputes.

Requirements & Qualifications
