Ying Hai Development Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking a competent Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control on large-scale construction projects. You will conduct quantity take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities, estimate costs and support tender submissions while coordinating with site teams to keep budgets on track.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying or related field, 3–5 years of experience with main contractors, and strong skills in Excel, AutoCAD and QS

Formación

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in building construction with main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimation, tender preparation, budgeting and cost control.
• Understanding of construction contracts, procurement procedures and subcontractor management.
• Proficiency in Excel/WPS, AutoCAD and QS software.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• Experience handling large-scale commercial or high-rise construction projects is an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Perform quantity take-off, Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimation and tender preparation.
• Prepare progress claims and evaluate subcontractor claims.
• Process variation orders (VO), final accounts and contractual documentation.
• Monitor project costs, identify financial risks and ensure projects remain within budget.
• Manage subcontractor claims and procurement procedures.
• Coordinate with site teams and meet project deadlines.
