Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a responsible Quantity Surveyor to join our growing construction team in Kajang. You will manage project costing, tendering, contractual matters, progress claims, procurement and subcontractor payments to ensure cost control and timely delivery.

The role requires a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field, with 2–5 years of experience in infrastructure or civil projects. Strong MS Excel and QS software skills, plus good negotiation and communication abilities,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field is required.
• Experience in infrastructure, roadworks, sewerage or civil projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, tendering, cost control and progress claims.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities, tender documents, cost estimates and budgets.
• Carry out quantity take-offs, measurements and costing for tenders and projects.
• Manage contractual matters throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor budgets, costs, commitments and financial performance.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and submit to clients on time.
• Review and verify progress claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify and prepare Variation Orders and EOTs.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for pricing and terms.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and site teams to monitor progress and expenditure.
• Prepare, review and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
