Job summary

SITNETIC FURNITURE SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in interior design fit-out projects to manage all contractual and financial aspects of our ventures.

The candidate will handle cost estimation, budgeting, tender prep, material costing, variations, and project cost control, ensuring on-budget delivery with high workmanship standards. Mandarin-speaking applicants have an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in interior design fit-out and renovation projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates have an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BQ), and tender documents.
• Conduct cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Manage contractual claims, variations, and progress payments.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, claims, and work done.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual, legal, and quality standards.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, sub-contractors, workers, and clients.
• Perform site visits to monitor progress and cost control.
• Prepare project claim, final accounts claim and project cost reports.
• Provide advice on procurement strategy and risk management.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in Interior Design and fit-out projects to manage all contractual and financial aspects of our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, tender preparation, material costing, variation orders, and project cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high-quality design and workmanship standards. Experience in interior fit-out, custom furniture, renovation works, and coordination with designers, suppliers, and contractors is highly preferred. Mandarin-speaking candidates will have an added advantage to effectively communicate with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
