Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Jr Quantity Surveyor to join our team working on interior fit-out, interior renovation and related works. You will gain hands-on exposure across pre-contract and post-contract activities.

Ideal for candidates with 0-2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduates with a keen interest in Quantity Surveying. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred due to business needs, and you will collaborate with project teams to manage costs and documentation.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in Quantity Surveying are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in interior fit-out, interior renovation or interior design projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of procurement and contract administration is an added advantage.
• Good communication, planning and time management skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and work well with the project team.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred due to business communication needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, quotations and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Assist with project budgeting, cost analysis and cost control.
• Coordinate procurement and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor claims, progress claims and variation orders.
• Support site valuation, final accounts and project cost reporting.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure costs and documentation are properly managed.
