Job summary

Selatan Road Marker & Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in road marking, road signage and infrastructure projects, with practical guidance from an experienced team.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant working experience will have an added advantage. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is required, with proficiency in Excel, Word and AutoCAD to support cost control and tender preparation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of quantity take-off, costing and construction contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and AutoCAD.
• Responsible, organised and attentive to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work independently.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Willing to travel to project sites within Johor when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, tender documents and Bills of Quantities.
• Conduct quantity take-offs based on drawings and site measurements.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Verify subcontractor and supplier quotations, claims and invoices.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and material usage.
• Assist with tender submissions and project documentation.
• Attend site visits and measure completed work when required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and the site team.
• Maintain proper records of contracts, claims and project costs.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Selatan Road Marker & Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and responsible Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This position is suitable for fresh graduates who wish to develop practical experience in road marking, roadworks, signage and infrastructure projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare quotations, cost estimates, tender documents and Bills of Quantities

Conduct quantity take-offs based on drawings and site measurements
