Job summary

PARKLAND CITY SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control and QS activities for diverse construction and property development projects. You will prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, tender documents and quotations, and support tender evaluations and contractor selections.

The role requires at least 2 years of QS experience and a degree in Quantity Surveying. Mandarin is an advantage, and the team collaborates with project, procurement and finance divisions.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience.
• Experience in construction and/or property development is preferred.
• Knowledge of cost estimation, measurements, taking off, tendering and contract administration.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle quantity surveying and cost management for construction and property development projects.
• Prepare BQ, cost estimates, tender documents and quotations.
• Manage tender evaluation, contractor/subcontractor selection and negotiation.
• Monitor project costs, variations, claims and progress payments.
• Assist in contract administration and final accounts.
• Liaise with project, construction, procurement and finance teams.
