Job summary

DIMENSI DAYA GEOTECHNICS SDN BHD is seeking a cost-focused professional to prepare detailed cost estimates, quantify construction works, and manage contractual documentation for project tendering and execution.

The role involves reviewing tender and contract documents, negotiating with contractors, administering contracts, and monitoring costs through the project lifecycle with stakeholders' coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for project costing and budgeting purposes.
• Carry out detailed quantity taking-off and measurement of construction works.
• Prepare tender and quotation documents for procurement and tendering purposes.
• Review tender and contract documents, draft agreements, prepare contractual documentation, and participate in negotiations with contractors.
• Administer contracts and prepare contractual correspondence in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
• Manage project costs, including progress claims, interim valuations, final accounts, and valuation of contract works.
• Assess, evaluate, and manage contractual claims, variations, extensions of time, and other commercial matters.
• Monitor project costs and provide cost management support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders on commercial and contractual matters.
• Undertake other ad-hoc assignments and duties as required by Management from time to time.
