Job summary

PARKLAND CITY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to support cost management for construction and property development projects. You will handle quantity surveying, prepare BQ and tender documents, and assist in final accounts.

You will monitor project costs, variations, claims and progress payments, and assist in contract administration. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential to liaise with project teams across Klang Valley and Melaka.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience.
Experience in construction and/or property development is preferred.
Good knowledge of cost estimation, measurements, taking off, tendering and contract administration.
Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Handle quantity surveying and cost management for construction and property development projects.
Prepare BQ, cost estimates, tender documents and quotations.
Manage tender evaluation, contractor/subcontractor selection and negotiation.
Monitor project costs, variations, claims and progress payments.
Assist in contract administration and final accounts.
Liaise with project, construction, procurement and finance teams.
