Job summary

EC Excel Holdings Berhad in Malaysia seeks a capable Quantity/Construction professional to support tender preparation, costing, and project estimates. You will review drawings, prepare bills of quantities, and liaise with consultants and contractors on contracts and claims.

You will also manage progress claims, submission of samples, and prepare submissions to clients, while maintaining records and presenting monthly updates to HQ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in aluminium facade industry.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic contract management knowledge is required.
• Proficient with Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Attend tender interview, site coordinator meeting if enquired by superior
• File in photocopy of the submitted tender documents and keep records for reference
• Interpret of contracts/tender documents
• Keep track on status of certification by the Main Contractor/Architect
• Liaise with all level of management /consultants/contractors
• Make comparison on the quotation received and check for any arithmetical errors & compliance
• Perform steel facade material estimation for each project and take site measurements
• Preparation of project tender, costing, budget, estimates including bills of quantities
• Prepare certificate to Sub-contractors upon evaluate Sub-contractors claim
• Prepare submission of samples to clients/consultants
• Prepare quotations, progress claims, valuation and final accounts
• To prepare/evaluate/assess claims and variations
• Study drawing & highlight to consultant if detect any discrepancy
• Taking off quantity for tender
• Update monthly progress claim and payment log
• complete any other assignment required by management from time to time
• To prepare monthly presentation slides in Microsoft Powerpoint to HQ
