Job summary

Ragawang Corporation Sdn Bhd, a leading construction company in Selangor, seeks a driven Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The role focuses on cost management, tendering, and project delivery, offering growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, 1–3 years' experience (fresh graduates welcomed), and strong Excel and contract knowledge (PAM CIDB). The position is based in Klang Valley with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction/building.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with PAM Contracts, CIDB requirements and local practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to work in Klang Valley.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and support procurement and cost negotiations.
• Prepare, review and verify progress claims and Variation Orders (VO).
• Monitor project costs, budgets and expenditure to ensure effective cost control.
• Prepare final accounts, cost reports and other commercial documentation.
• Liaise closely with consultants, subcontractors, clients and project teams.
• Identify potential cost issues and support the project team in achieving cost-effective project delivery.
• Ensure QS and commercial activities are carried out in accordance with contract requirements and industry practices.

What You'll Be Doing:

Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents.

What We're Looking For:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant experience in the construction / building industry is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
