Job summary

Q&C Jurukur Perunding is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare and review Bills of Quantities, cost plans, estimates and tender documentation, and to carry out quantity measurement from drawings and specifications.

You will assist in tender administration, interim valuations, payment recommendations, and variation orders, while maintaining project cost reports and liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience preferred.
• Experience in a Quantity Surveying consultancy is an advantage.
• Good understanding of measurement, tendering, valuation, variation and final account procedures.
• Familiarity with PAM, JKR, CIDB or other standard forms of contract will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Glodon or other QS measurement/cost management software is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings, project inspections and tender briefings when required.
• Assist in providing cost and commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for project cost and contract administration.
