Job summary

IDPM Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a capable Quantity Surveyor to manage C&S duties, including tendering, project budgeting and claims processing to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying and has at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in C&S QS within the construction sector, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in C&S Quantity Surveying within the construction/building sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all works related to C&S Quantity Surveyor duties including tendering, project budgeting and processing claims.
• Review of contract, tender drawings, scope of work, schedule, technical specification and BOQ.
• Check the progress of work on site and submission of progress claims.
• Check subcontracts / vendors progress claims / payment certification against the actual work and quality.
• Any other duties related to Quantity Surveyor as required by the Contract Manager.

Job description

Responsible for all works related to C&S Quantity Surveyor duties including but not limit to the tendering process, project budgeting, processing claims and other project related matters to ensure quality and timeliness in delivery of the assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Review of contract, tender drawings, scope of work, schedule, technical specification and BOQ.

Check the progress of work on site and submission of progress claims.

Check subcontracts/ vendors progress claims / payment certification against the actual work and quality of work done and recommend payment requests to finance.

Any other duties related to Quantity Surveyor which the Contract Manager requires the role to be duly performed.

Requirements:-

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent .

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in C&S Quantity Surveying within the construction/building sector.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
