Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and contract administration. The role involves preparing Bills of Quantities, managing tender submissions, and handling subcontractor appointments and payments as part of project controls.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying and have at least three years of relevant experience, enabling effective pre- and post-contract activities, including site evaluations and documentation reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, approve and assist subcontractors with registration in the e-Registration system.
• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BQ) for quotations and tenders in accordance with the required standards.
• Prepare, upload and verify quotation/tender documents in the e-Procurement system.
• Prepare meeting briefing papers and present quotation and tender evaluation reports.
• Manage subcontractor appointments, including the preparation of appointment letters and related documents.
• Process subcontractor payments, conduct site evaluations, issue payment certificates and verify supporting payment documents according to the checklist.
• Carry out pre-contract activities for projects other than PJK6, including preparing quotations and participating in tender submissions.
• Carry out post-contract administration for projects other than PJK6, ensuring contractual compliance, conducting site evaluations and preparing monthly claim documents.

Carry out post-contract administration for projects other than PJK6, ensuring contractual compliance, conducting site evaluations and preparing monthly claim documents.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Handle CMGD / Defects Liability Period (DLP) matters

Prepare and manage contract documentation.

Requirements
