Job summary

JKV Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor with 3-5 years of estimating experience to join our Kuala Lumpur team. You will prepare cost estimates, manage tenders, and produce final valuations for client approval while coordinating with site managers and engineers to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires a degree in quantity surveying or related field, strong MS Office skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience, or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Projecting cost estimates on various materials needed for a project.
• Preparing contract documents and tenders, progress claim and payment certificates, invoices, final valuations for client approval and other documentation.
• Hiring or procuring subcontractors based on the presented budget to the client.
• Liaising with site managers, site engineers, and other necessary people to ensure the project follows to the timeline.

• Manage contracts and costs of a construction project, from beginning to completion.
• Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and implement cost control measures. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.
