CAPAIAN PERSADA SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial aspects of diverse construction projects from inception to completion.
You will prepare quantity take-offs, pricing, and Bills of Quantities, evaluate tenders, progress claims, and final accounts, and liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to protect project interests. Travel to project sites will be required to verify works and support valuations.
Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and pricing for construction projects.
Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor packages.
Prepare and submit progress claims, payment applications, and payment certificates.
Evaluate and manage Variation Orders (VO), including measurement, pricing, and supporting documentation.
Conduct site measurements and verify completed works for valuation and payment purposes.
Review subcontractor claims, quotations, and final accounts.
Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams on commercial and contractual matters.
Maintain proper records of contracts, measurements, claims, variations, correspondence, and other commercial documents.
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction or quantity surveying, depending on position level.
Good knowledge of construction methods, measurement, costing, and contract administration.
Familiarity with construction contracts, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and quantity surveying / estimating software is an advantage.
Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Willing to travel to project sites when required.
