Rafulin Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support budgeting, cost control, contract administration, procurement, and documentation across multiple works packages. You will prepare reports, valuations, and claims while coordinating sub-contractors and site measurements.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey and 2 years' experience, with road construction exposure and familiarity with QAD System as an advantage.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Preferably 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Exposure in road construction is preferred.
• Experience with QAD System is an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in project budgeting and cost control.
• Support contract administration and sub-contract procurement.
• Manage procurement activities for materials, equipment and services.
• Prepare monthly progress and financial reports.
• Draft and submit variations and claims with proper documentation.
• Maintain and control contract documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide pre- and post-contract advisory support.
• Draft and issue contractual letters to clients and sub-contractors.
• Coordinate post-contract activities with clients and design teams.
• Perform material take-offs and assist procurement planning.
• Assist in sub-contractor negotiations and appointments.
• Prepare interim valuations for work completed.
• Conduct on-site measurements to verify work and cost.
• Identify, value and manage variations with stakeholders.
• Evaluate and certify sub-contractor payments and final accounts.
• Assist in final account preparation and agreement with client and subs.

Support the Project Manager in project budgeting, cost control, contract administration, procurement, and documentation. Responsibilities include preparing reports, valuations, and claims, managing variations, performing site measurements, and assisting with final accounts and sub-contractor coordination.

Job Responsibility:

1. Assist in Project Budgeting and Cost Control

Support the Contract/Project Manager in developing the overall project budget and managing project cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Contract Administration & Sub-Contract Procurement

Handle day-to-day contract administration and assist in sourcing, evaluating, and appointing sub-contractors.

3. Procurement Activities

Manage purchasing processes for materials, equipment, and services required for the project.

4. Preparation of Monthly Reports

Compile and prepare monthly progress and financial reports as required by the contract for internal and client presentations.

5. Variations and Claims Proposals

Draft and submit proposals for variations and claims, ensuring accurate documentation and timely presentation to the client.

6. Contract Documentation Management

Maintain and control all contract-related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.

7. Pre- and Post-Contract Advisory

Provide advice on contractual issues during pre-tender stages and throughout the post-contract period.

8. Issuance of Contractual Letters

Draft and issue formal correspondence to clients and sub-contractors related to contractual matters.

Support the Contract/Project Manager in liaising with clients and design teams for post-contract activities and communications.

10. Material Take-Offs and Procurement

Perform material quantity take-offs and assist in procurement planning and execution.

11. Sub-Contractor Negotiation and Appointment

Assist in negotiations and the awarding of contracts to sub-contractors in accordance with project requirements.

12. Interim Valuations Preparation

Prepare and submit interim valuations for work completed, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

13. Site Measurements

Conduct on-site measurements to verify completed works and support cost assessments.

14. Variations Management and Valuation

Identify, manage, and value variations, ensuring proper documentation and agreement with stakeholders.

15. Sub-Contractor Payment Certification

Evaluate and certify sub-contractors' interim payments and final accounts in accordance with contract terms.

16. Final Account Preparation

Assist in the preparation and submission of final accounts for several works packages.

17. Final Account Agreement

Support the Contract/Project Manager in the negotiation and agreement of the final account with the client and sub-contractors.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

Preferably candidate with 2 years or working experience in related field.

Preferably exposure in (road) construction.

Exposure in using QAD System will be an added advantage.
