Job summary

Pivotal Systems (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Quality Technician to perform IQC, in-process and final inspections in line with the quality plan and timelines.

You will maintain quality records, ensure measuring equipment is calibrated and generate inspection reports. Proficiency with CMM is a plus. You will support data requests from customers and internal teams with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and email writing skills.
• Ability to document QC processes clearly.
• Knowledge of quality records handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform IQC for incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection within the given timelines.
• Maintain quality records prior to inspection.
• Ensure measuring equipment and tools are calibrated.
• Perform calibration activities as assigned by the department manager.
• Generate inspection reports after completing inspection tasks.
• Prepare documents and data requested by customers and internal teams.
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in handling information.
• Handle ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

Perform all incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection activities within the timeline given or stated in the documentation.

To maintain the quality records prior to inspection.

Ensure the measuring equipment and tools are calibrated.

Perform calibration activities as assigned by the department manager.Carry out inspection activities as per quality plan, procedure and instruction.

Generate inspection report after complete inspection task.

Prepare all relevant documents and data requested by customer and internal cross functional department.

Demonstrate a positive attitudes and positive actions by display of courtesy, congeniality, cooperation, sensitivity and professionalism.

Protect the confidentiality of information with areas of own position responsibilities by preventing unauthorized release, both verbal and/ or writing.

Other adhoc task/project as assigned by superior from time to time."

Requirements:

SKM / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification

1–3 years of working experience in mechanical parts Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

Good communication and emailing skills, with ability to handle QC documentation

Able to operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is an added advantage.
