Job summary

GenFast Power is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance activities across incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages. You will develop and implement inspection plans, manage non-conformances, and drive continual improvement initiatives to uphold system compliance.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering with 3+ years’ experience in QA/QC, familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with creating and implementing new system procedures.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Quality Management System.
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
• Root cause analysis and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks for daily incoming, in-process and outgoing products.
• Create and update quality inspection plans and work instructions.
• Investigate complaints and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Ensure measuring equipment and tools are calibrated and safe to use.
• Review and manage QA documentation and procedures.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure ISO compliance.
• Train staff on new procedures.

QA/QC Engineer

Description Of The Role:

• Identify and execute the development and implementation of activities/methods to improve IQA, In-process and Final Outgoing inspection activities
• Identify and execute the Continual Improvement Plan
• Support Product Quality Assurance and Integrated Management System.
• Administer Product Non-Conformance & System related issues.

Key Tasks:

• Perform quality check for daily In-coming, In-process and out-going products
• Create & update quality inspection plans and work instructions for incoming, In-process or outgoing parts to ensure that components and products conform to specifications.
• Perform complaint handling, investigate root cause of complaint and perform Corrective Action and Preventive Action as necessary.
• Ensure the Measuring equipment and tools were all calibrated and safe to use.
• Create and review Management procedure, Safe Work Procedure (SWP), Safe Work Method (SWM), System Management Formats & System Management Flow Charts
• Responsible for QA documentation including the circulation of documents.
• Monitor the status of Document Approval Request upon approval from top management.
• Conduct training for all new approved Management procedures.
• Participate in external and internal audit to ensure company quality system is effective
• Conduct Internal Quality Audits and Project Quality Audits.

Requirements:

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge/Experience/Others

• Experience with creating and implementing of new system procedures
• Minimum 3 years hands on Experience in handling Quality Management System
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 requirement.
• Familiar with Root cause analysis
• Well verse on Problem solving techniques
• Competent with general PC and Office software application
