Greif Malaysia is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to meet established quality specifications. You will perform visual, dimensional, and COA checks, document NCRs, and support root cause analysis while calibrating equipment and maintaining records.
The role requires 2–3 years in quality control within manufacturing, preferably plastics or packaging, with Bahasa Malaysia or English and strong teamwork and communication skills.
Inspects incoming raw material, in-process, and finished goods for compliance with established quality specifications, including blow molding, cage assembly, valve fitting, leak testing, and pallet attachment.
Perform in-process and final inspections of IBCs, including visual checks, dimensional measurements, and pressure/leak testing.
Works with inbound and outbound colleagues to complete required quality control testing and documentation in a timely manner.
Identify, document, and report non-conformances (NCRs); assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Calibrate and verify inspection equipment regularly and maintain calibration records.
Actively engages in sample testing by reviewing daily schedule and testing sample runs while in production. Assists with testing of product returns and investigating product complaints.
Completes process checks to verify conformance with supplier Certificates of Analysis (COA). Completes and submits COAs per customer requests.
Take the lead on all quality-related issues.
Ensures compliance with the company's quality management system including ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000.
Assist with internal audits and participate in customer or third-party inspections when required.
Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Follow safety regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Company.
