Bruker Corporation Malaysia seeks a quality inspection professional to uphold the site quality system and drive continuous improvement. You will inspect complex parts, interpret drawings, plan measurements, and lead ISO audits with cross-functional teams.
The role requires 3+ years in QA, expertise in MSA/GDT, and experience with CMMs and QMS standards. On-site position in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Maintains the quality system by compliance to the International Standard or customer requirements which is necessary.
Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
Performing inspection of highly complicated parts, components and assemblies as received from vendors, suppliers and contract manufacturers
Interpret customer drawing and plan for measurement inspection method
Discuss with Engineering to design measurement fixture
Coordinate and guide QC inspectors on handling measurement equipment
Liaise with customer on MSA related matterFacilitators and Coordinator for the ISO 9001 certification and recertification.
Ensure the effectiveness of Quality management system implementation.
Lead the ISO internal audit and ensure the internal audit was conducted by follow the timeline and audit scope was followed the Internal standard.
Follow up on the audit findings till the closureAct as document controller is part of this role.
Participating in and driving for continuous improvement activities.
Performing inspection of highly complicated parts, components and assemblies as received from vendors, suppliers and contract manufacturers
Assisting or determining methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection.
Translating drawings and specifications into effective measurement plans.
Approves incoming materials and in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning materials.
Approves in-process production by confirming system specifications, and quality plans; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work through BPEN process, i.e. NCMR, CAR, SCAR, etc.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs, certifications and recalibrations if required.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Effectively communicating with the Operations Team (i.e., Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and Design Engineering) regarding drawings on technical issues.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Participating in and driving continuous improvement activities.
Knowledge in Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
Knowledge in Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GDT)
Able to operate CMM and write CMM program
Able to read and understand complex engineering drawing tolerances and GDT, and translate requirements to parts/assemblies, including knowledge of electrical schematic drawings and wire diagrams.
Familiarity with standard manufacturing methods and procedures
Ability to read product drawings and translate product specifications into effective quality management plan
Experience in QMS certification & recertification activities.
Have Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
Able to read and understand complex engineering drawing tolerances and GDT, and translate requirements to parts/assemblies, including knowledge of electrical schematic drawings and wire diagrams.
Ability to use Microsoft Office products to facilitate data collection, analysis and reporting
Ability to read product drawings and translate product specifications into effective quality management plans
Ideal candidates must possess Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Engineering (E&E) or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection position is required.
