Job summary

Wipro Unza Malaysia in Subang Jaya is seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician to perform process validation, troubleshooting, and testing per quality standards.

You will inspect incoming materials, online production, and finished products, maintain accurate records, and uphold housekeeping and safe work procedures.

Effective communication and teamwork are essential as you report non-conformances to supervisors and assist management with daily quality assurance tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: SPM or Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Experience in a chemistry lab is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset for effective decision-making and problem solving.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and GMP.

Responsibilities

• Perform process validation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure safe work practices.
• Report safety violations to superiors promptly.
• Carry out sampling, inspections and testing per quality standards.
• Inspect incoming materials, online productions and finished products.
• Maintain accurate records of tests/inspections.
• Report non-conformances promptly.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

• To perform process validation and troubleshooting process.
• Maintain the housekeeping practice at work site and ensure safe work procedures are practiced.
• Update on any safety violations / hazards on a timely basis to Superiors.
• Carry out Sampling, Inspections and Testing in accordance with the established quality standards.
• Carry out inspection and testing of incoming materials, online productions and finished products.
• Maintain accurate records of all performed tests / inspections in assigned work sheet.
• Report on all non-conformances detected on a timely basis to the Superiors.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum educational background; SPM or Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Experience in Chemistry lab is an added advantage.
• Posses an analytical mind for effective decision-making and problem-solving
• Good communication command and teamwork attitude
• Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and GMP

Key Experiences

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate effectively trough oral & written communications
