Job summary

Ichia Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Systems professional to implement and maintain ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and QC 080000 across the manufacturing network.

The role requires coordinating audits, maintaining procedures, and driving KPI improvements to ensure compliance and performance. Qualification highlights include a degree in quality management or related field, experience in quality systems and audits, and familiarity with UL, IMDS, and CAMDS.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality System / Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and QC 080000 requirements.
• Experience in internal, external, and customer audits is an advantage.
• Familiar with UL certification, IMDS, and CAMDS is preferred.
• Good documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Mandarin speaking is preferred to facilitate communication with Chinese-speaking customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Audit & Corrective Action Management: Coordinate and support external, internal, and customer audits; prepare corrective action/improvement reports; follow up on actions.
• Procedure & Document Control: Prepare, review, update and maintain quality procedures and documents; ensure compliance and conduct document/process audits.
• KPI Monitoring & Reporting: Track departmental KPIs and consolidate data for regular management reviews; drive improvement actions.
• UL Certification & Audit: Coordinate UL certification applications; prepare samples and support responses during UL audits.
• IMDS & CAMDS: Prepare, maintain and submit IMDS and CAMDS data with cross-functional coordination.
• Other Duties: Perform other quality system duties as assigned.

Job description

Management System Implementation & Maintenance

Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s quality management systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and QC 080000.

Ensure relevant procedures and requirements are properly implemented across departments.

Audit & Corrective Action Management

Coordinate and support external, internal, and customer audits.

Prepare and submit corrective action/improvement reports for audit findings.

Follow up on corrective actions and verify the effectiveness of improvement results.

Procedure & Document Control

Prepare, review, update, and maintain quality-related procedures and documents.

Ensure documents comply with applicable management system requirements and audit standards.

Conduct document/process audits where required.

KPI Monitoring & Reporting

Track the implementation and achievement of departmental KPIs.

Consolidate KPI data and prepare regular reports for management review.

Follow up with relevant departments on KPI improvement actions.

UL Certification & Audit

Coordinate UL certification applications and related requirements.

Prepare and arrange UL samples for certification/testing.

Support and coordinate responses during UL audits and follow up on audit findings.

IMDS & CAMDS

Prepare, maintain, and submit IMDS and CAMDS material data.

Coordinate with relevant departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure material information is accurate and submitted on time.

Other Duties

Perform other quality system-related duties and assignments as instructed by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Experience in Quality System / Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and QC 080000 requirements.
