Job summary

Cypark Resources Berhad seeks a Quality Specialist to lead the implementation and maintenance of the QMS (ISO 9001) while supporting integration with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. You will coordinate audits, monitor quality metrics, and drive improvements across departments to ensure regulatory and organizational compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4–5 years’ experience in quality management, with strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.

• 4–5 years of experience in quality management, ISO implementation or compliance roles.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards and auditing practices.
• Strong analytical, documentation and reporting skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company procedures.
• Coordinate ISO audits (internal and external), including planning, documentation and correction action follow-up.
• Track and report quality performance indicators and system improvements to management.
• Prepare timely reporting of QMS performance reports.
• Conduct ISO and quality awareness sessions to strengthen compliance culture across departments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and organizational quality requirements.
• Participate in risk assessments, compliance reviews and root cause analysis for system-level deviations.
• Review QA/QC documentation to ensure IMS alignment and monitor QA/QC activities at project sites when required.

The Quality Specialist role involves implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company procedures, while supporting the integration of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) requirements where applicable.

Key responsibilities

Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company procedures

Support the integration of ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) requirements where applicable

Coordinate internal and external ISO audits, including planning, documentation and correction action follow-up

Track and report on quality performance indicators and system improvements to management

Prepare timely reporting of QMS performance reports

Conduct ISO and quality awareness sessions to strengthen compliance culture across departments

Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and organizational quality requirements

Participate in risk assessments, compliance reviews and root cause analysis for system level deviations

Review QAQC documentation (ITPs, quality reports, audit findings) to ensure integration with IMS standards

Support QAQC monitoring activities at project sites when required

Requirement

Minimum 4-5 years of experience in quality management, ISO implementation or compliance roles

In depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards and auditing practices

Strong analytical, documentation and reporting skills

Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and document control systems

Ensure all company certifications are active and valid at all times
