Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Manager to oversee the overall quality department, supplier quality, incoming & outgoing QA, and customer quality assurance.

You will lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors and technicians, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with production and planning to ensure timely verification and release of material and product. Mandarin language is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/QC in manufacturing.
• 2-3 years in QA/QC managerial/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS.
• Experience with 8D, CAPA, RCA, FMEA and related tools.
• Experience handling customer audits and quality improvement projects.
• Mandarin language advantageous.

Job description

Responsible for the Overall Quality Department function including supplier quality management, incoming quality control, SPC, in-process control, and outgoing/ customer quality assurance.

Set quality direction and own quality performance in line with customer expectation.

Ensure compliance for the implementation and maintenance of quality systems in accordance with customer, internal, ISO Standard, and regulatory/ legal requirements.

Raise NCMR/CAR according to procedures.

Ensure compliance with customer quality & regulatory requirements through effective quality planning and collaboration with the customer to establish acceptable and realistic quality criteria.

Ensure closer of quality issues through root cause analysis and implementation of effective containment and close loop corrective/ preventive actions (8D method)

To lead a team of Quality Engineers, inspectors, technicians and provide support to cross-functional managers to ensure corrective actions/ quality continuous improvement occurs per committed timeline. Direct, control, and motivate all quality subordinates in all aspects affecting their work performance

Initiate joint continuous improvement program with the customer to further improve customer satisfaction.

Establish departmental level quality KPI & target, review and report quality performance regularly to ensure the target is achieved.

Review QA procedures and documentation from appointed vendors to verify conformance to project specifications codes & standards

Report to the management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.

Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with Production, Planning, and Supply Assurance to ensure timely verification and release of material/ product.

Monitor daily QA operations and re-prioritize QA Ops deliverables, where required, evaluate and resolve any QA-related events escalated by QA technicians to minimize production downtime.

Execute other tasks assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment

Minimum 2-3 years of QA/QC managerial or supervisory experience

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS

Experienced in 8D, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA and other quality tools

Experienced in handling customer complaints, audits and quality improvement projects

Mandarin Speaker is most advantage.
