About the role
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Quality Management System (QMS) Executive / Team Lead to establish, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure effective implementation of the QMS.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
Support and maintain certification requirements such as ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management standards.
Manage QMS documentation, including policies, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, forms, and quality records.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits and follow up on audit findings.
Coordinate and support external, certification, surveillance, and customer audits.
Monitor non-conformities and ensure timely implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and follow up on corrective action effectiveness.
Monitor QMS-related KPIs and prepare periodic quality performance reports for management review.
Coordinate and facilitate Management Review Meetings and follow up on agreed action items.
Promote quality awareness and provide QMS-related training to relevant employees.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure departments comply with established quality procedures, documentation, and record-control requirements.
For Team Lead level, provide guidance and coordination to QMS team members and drive cross-functional closure of quality system issues.
What we’re looking for
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or a related discipline.
Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
Hands‑on knowledge of ISO 9001; exposure to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA 6.3 or other relevant standards will be an added advantage.
Experience in internal audits, external audits, document control, CAPA, RCA, and management review processes.
Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, PDCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plan is advantageous.
Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor is an added advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Able to coordinate effectively with different departments and drive action-item closure.
