Job summary

COSMX Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd seeks a Quality Management System (QMS) Executive / Team Lead to establish, maintain, and continuously improve the QMS, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures while driving cross-functional quality initiatives.

You will lead audits, manage documentation, and track QMS KPIs, collaborating with Quality, Production, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain to strengthen quality performance and organizational excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001; exposure to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA 6.3 or other relevant standards will be an added advantage.
• Experience in internal audits, external audits, document control, CAPA, RCA, and management review processes.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies and tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, 8D, PDCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plan is advantageous.
• Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with different departments and drive action-item closure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support and maintain certification requirements such as ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
• Manage QMS documentation, including policies, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, forms, and quality records.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits and follow up on audit findings.
• Coordinate and support external, certification, surveillance, and customer audits.
• Monitor non-conformities and ensure timely implementation of CAPA.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and follow up on corrective action effectiveness.
• Monitor QMS-related KPIs and prepare periodic quality performance reports for management review.
• Coordinate and facilitate Management Review Meetings and follow up on action items.
• Promote quality awareness and provide QMS-related training to relevant employees.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure departments comply with established quality procedures, documentation, and record-control requirements.
• For Team Lead level, provide guidance and coordination to QMS team members and drive cross-functional closure of quality system issues.
