Job summary

MatrixMax Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Management Representative to oversee the QMS, drive continuous improvements, and manage audits across production and operations. You will resolve CPARs, track CAPA actions, and promote quality awareness throughout the organization.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Quality Management or related field with 3–5 years in QA/QMS/ISO compliance within manufacturing. Strong leadership and bilingual communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, QMS implementation, or ISO compliance within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Proven experience in lead auditing, handling internal/external audits, and managing CPAR/CAPA processes.
• Strong background in production process troubleshooting and quality documentation control.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO Quality Management System requirements and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis (CAPA) skills.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills to audit and influence HODs and section leaders.
• High attention to detail with robust organizational and reporting capabilities.
• Bahasa Malaysia: Good spoken and written communication skills.
• English: Good spoken and written communication skills (required for audits and formal reporting).

Responsibilities

• Compile monthly and annual quality reports for leadership.
• Maintain QMS documentation and work instructions across processes.

Job description

To oversee, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards. The QMR is responsible for driving quality performance, managing internal/external audits, resolving non-conformances (CPARs), monitoring cross-departmental KPIs, and promoting quality awareness across all production and operational processes to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all QMS processes are established, implemented, updated, and maintained according to ISO standards.
• Report QMS performance, improvement needs, and audit findings directly to the Managing Director and during Management Review meetings.
• Support, update, and maintain ISO system documentation, Work Instructions, and Standard Working Procedures.
• Liaise with external consultants, certification bodies, and relevant interested parties on quality management matters.
• Provide QMS and Quality Control (QC) training to staff and promote quality awareness across the organization.
• Plan, manage, and schedule the Internal Audit process, generating summary reports and tracking corrective actions.
• Accompany and facilitate external Certification Body audits and Customer audits.
• Issue, track, and close Corrective and Preventive Action Requests (CPARs) and non-conformance reports within stipulated deadlines.
• Collect, review, and approve QC inspection records, packing weights, line clearance forms, and machine maintenance checklists across sections.
• Compile, analyze, and submit monthly and annual quality reports to the Managing Director.

About you
